The saddest part is that he never holds the throttle open for more than about 3/4 of a second. He'll never get it sorted out properly if all he ever does is BRAP BRAP BRAP BRAP BRAAAP BRABRABRAP BRAAAP BRAP BRAP.

I think it's cute how you built this little car, how it drives around and I think I'm happy inside like you about it. this is a crazy amount of work and talent but it makes me or us feel like children again. thanks for sharing and a lot of respect!

Wow, I'm not car rc person but the work put into this is amazing. Sound of that engine ticking over at idle is beautiful. Amazing work well done. Loved to have an engine engineered like this to go in one of my scale rc planes. Kind regards Dan

12:53 couldent that be fixed by adding a gear ration that increases rpm before the gearbox, and then change the final drive ratio to compensate? (and good job on the build so far :) )
@americanwillpower4 жыл бұрын
what I was thinking..play with the gearing it may give massively better acceleration and with more gears better top speed!
@vulduv4 жыл бұрын
@@americanwillpower the gearbox he is using is non adjustable. he would have to replace it intierly to change the gear ratios in it. (or deconstruct it) what i was suggesting was to add a set of gears before the gearbox to get the input shaft of the gearbox spinning fast enough for the gearbox to engage anything higher than first gear.
@Alexx__xD4 жыл бұрын
@@vulduv couldn't you change the weights inside the trans which makes it change gear?
@MrT3coma4 жыл бұрын
sounds badass is badass....exept i had this rc...schumacher fusion 21, fusion28 menace21 nicest looking rc but the gearing is the worst part, plastic weak 1/10 scale it used to break with 2hp from the original nitro tundertiger engine, its just a pice of plastic that opens with centrifugal force against a spring and hits the inside groove of the gear with no cluthc, and the shaft has a 1mm pin through it wich snaps...so it is ajustable just put a softer spring in but then it will bog out..the gearing is meant for nitro to go 200mph...he would have to replace the hole thing
@vulduv4 жыл бұрын
@@Alexx__xD he said it wasent adjustable, so i just assumed he couldent disassemble the gearbox. ither due to not being able to put it back together, or the disassembly being very destructive of the gearbox itself (i havent seen the gearbox or i dont remember it) but if he could change the weights in it. then that would be preferable.

First of all: well done! Showed this to my friends and they like it aswell! Maybe an idea for another series: pickup truck with a rear or mid engine. Something you'd find on a pro car series. What do you think? That'd be a challenge to build :D
