Why would you, in light of her tier 2 that gives her more defense, think it would be a good idea to give an already strong anti-gank support hero last stand and bastion capability along with how easy it is to get her T2 that boosts her defense? Everyone threw a fucking shit fit when Tiandi wasn't able to die with his T3 and T4 and it makes no sense for a hero designed to heal and revive be an unkillable wall too cause then teams will never fucking die if they are coordinated. This is MMO Class kind of logic and it's really, really stupid lmfao. I mean shit, why does Zhanhu have Vanguard perks when he's basically just an assassain? Or Valkrie have support perks when she literally doesn't support the team at all besides her one T4 that reveals enemies? Hell why does Kyoshin, a defensive tank hero, have God damn assassain tiers like defense down as his T4? The class labels stopped having meaning in absolutism the second we got the Wu Lin who were just all over the place design wise. Clinging to them when what determines the class label now is the hero's core moveset and tiers is just weird. Like her label is accurate. She's a heavy defensive support hero, what exactly is wrong about that knowing all this then? Cause it seems rather a perfect perk choice for the kit and tiers in perspective of it all lol.

16:30 Take Shelter (T1) does not heal the user, only heals nearby allies, which is why she gets a defense buff for T2. Might still be overtuned, but that does make a huge difference in the utility of it, the devs made sure to mention that

@@rcp153none9 She's a heavy. All the heavy characters up to this point had 1 of 2 perk sets, that being entirely defense, or a mix of defense and assist perks. Not only that, but I shouldn't be needlessly stuck into one specific set of perks or feats because the devs decided that they wanted a support character only. Having the options for support is nice, but entirely eliminated any good defense perks or self-buff feats is stupid. BP and JJ are actually better examples of a "support heavy". BP can give out regening shields and take a bit of damage to grant shields to allies. JJ can buff allies stamina in an AoE with one feature and can use a feat to temp increase allies damage. And both BP and JJ can use Speed revive and Inspire. And both characters have a mix of Defense and Assist perks.

I guess thats what the enhanced lights are for, but thinking immediately of BP, he has 2 neutral bashes, the neutral unblockable, and chain pressure that can always loop into the unblockable. This character is giving me JJ vibes. Very decent in team fights, but incredibly straightforward offense.

Enhanced lights into a heavy unblockable is honestly all she needs as a opener, it's like old Jorm, light into heavy unblockable is simple and doesn't guarantee damage but it can be fainted to GB, bash, or just another light. Unless the opponent is god tier and parries every light then you just bash to open which is a combo starter

Usually rapid refresh is a must pic, but seeing that her only actives are t4, it's seems to be just a waste to me. Split between radiant rebound and remedy + feline agility or clever tactyic to be honest, one to move faster the other because fster cap is always good

I think it's good for this hero to not have the cancel recovery to full block stance from block, related to the strenght of the punishes from it and all the crashing counters that she has in her movest. For the same reasons and a pretty basic movest, Warlord should have this specific cancel recovery on block for me and maybe even the second light with crushing counter propriety just like had at the game launch. Now with heroes like this one or Afeera, the second light in crushing counter wouldn't be so much broken on him.

From my point of view they are boring, because even if they have strong designs and story they are not well used, a new hero should bring something new and bring his whole design and story into his gameplay and moveset and once again, from my point of view, the new hero fails to do so

I know this perks are typically grouped together but, I mean, come the fuck on. She only has two active feats total and can only have one equipped at a time. Im happy for another year of For Honor. But when are we going to get cross progression already. Ever since I built a PC, i have no reason to play on my xbox anymore. Ever since the CCU update, it has become a living hell to play on old gen. And i refuse to buy a new gen xbox just to play For Honor. I have 400 plus reps and hundreds of dollars spent on steel, I want to keep playing, but i dont want to drop another $500 for a new console and throw all that progression away. I hate her alternative feats, it just seems like their newest trend to give characters unique feats that are just broken and don't promote any uniqueness in what feats you use, the only argument I see for opting out the tier 4 that I find really bad is on maps like forge where those feats get no value anyway, and the only alternative build I see as possibly strong are combining all the revive stuff. She is a hybrid being called a heavy which is very apparent by her perk choices, they just didn't want to get flamed for making another hybrid.

Speaking of perks...when are they going to rework them? Vengeful Barrier has been broken (double revenge bug) ever since the very inception of these perks nearly 6 years ago, and the heavy perks in general are far better than any other subset of perks. I don't have many complaints about this game, really only the lack of content but that can be pinned on Ubi for cutting their budget cause Siege makes more money than a niche game like For Honor. But when easily abused bugs like this that make or break entire game-changing fights are left in the game for several years? Nah. That's just ridiculous.
