The beautiful irony in ending the album about female empowerment on Miss Understood, a song which sees an almost defeated Simz lamenting a bitter fallout with her sister, explaining why she is introverted. She spent the entirety of the album coming out of her shell, without compromising herself, yet she ultimately reminds us of how incapable she truly is to mould the world around her. That’s why she loves being alone, protecting her energy.

This is album is something truly special, man. It's without a doubt the best hip hop album to come out since Kendrick Lamar's "To Pimp A Butterfly". Have you ever heard of/listened to SAULT? They are a sort-of anonymous British collective of musicians who do soul/R&B type stuff. Inflo produces everything and Cleo Soul is one of their lead vocalists (Simz featured on their latest album too). To your point about using real instruments, SAULT clearly does and their production is gorgeous
