She’s just sold out Alexander palace two nights in a row in London which is around 10,000 people so I’m really glad her home gives her love. I think I remember Simz saying in an interview with fantano that she put Miss Understood at the end because she had more to say, and she knew she'd regret it if she didn't say what she needed to. I agree that 'How Did You Get Here' would have made an incredible closer, but with how breathtaking this album is from start to finish - for me, ending on the softer more personal moment of Miss Understood grounds the entire project. It brings the whole thing back down to earth in the most beautiful way
@barry46498 ай бұрын
I love albums that do that at the end. Even My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and To Pimp a Butterfly end in that sort of way with the scattered clap at the end of Dark Fantasy and Kendrick calling out for Tupac instead of ending triumphantly made for better endings imo

I think she ended on miss understood because throughout the album you learn to understand her and how she works and what’s she’s been through. So the audience and her have this relationship of no longer miss understanding each other as she is now miss. Understood. Yet, even after you say your peace, you can still be missunderstood. Which is where she brings in her family and how even the closest people can misunderstand her intentions. Which leads on to another feeling to explore in a later album but also life
