Jones Mtn hike, New Hartford CT, w/ trailfork, old farmhouse remnants, site of 1978 murder

Jones Mtn, New Hartford CT. Borders private hunting properties in New Hartford. On the hike you will see a trailfork, carriage Rd, bridges, old farm implements, ruins of an old farmhouse, a creepy cabin and the lookout. On July 29, 1978 two medical students from Cornell hiked here at night. One was found murdered at the lookout, with around 180 stab wounds. The other was found confused, wearing bloody clothes and ended up serving jail time (State V. Asherman, 195.Conn 695)
