Does the none pro version work on the east coast as well?
@boardoftheworldcom2 ай бұрын
Yes, the standard Jones Tweaker is also excellent for us East Coasters. I wrote an in-depth review of the non-pro Tweaker version here: www.boardoftheworld.com/jones-tweaker-review/ The Tweaker Pro's in depth has a section where I compare both versions in a bit more detail here: www.boardoftheworld.com/jones-tweaker-pro-review-and-comparison/

I've just ordered my tweaker pro! I'm a huge fan of traditional camber twin tips, and on paper this sounds like my perfect board. Have you ridden the aviator 2.0? If so, how does this compare flex wise?

Hell yeah, Martin! I haven't had the chance to ride the Aviator 2.0 out yet. They both have a similar construction with Koroyd built in. Jones puts both around a 7. I can say that number rating felt accurate to my feet. I've ridden the Jomes Mountain Twin and reg Tweaker. The Tweaker Pro felt around 2 notches stiffer.

@@boardoftheworldcom thanks man, just took mine out for the first time today, what a weapon! Carves like a dream, super responsive edge to edge, and all kinds of pop! Absolutely awesome for short radius, technical gripped turns, and more drawn out carves. The park was closed today but was super fun on piste and the side hits. It's right on the borderline of butterable for me, doable but not what I'll gravitate towards on this board. I'm still getting used to spinning on it, but I'm sure that will come with time. Today was the most fun I've had on the hill in a while so I'm stoked!

This for the spring break resort twin? East coast for everything
@boardoftheworldcom2 ай бұрын
@JulianMoses-o7i I personally own the SB resort twin as part of my quiver. I'd say the non pro Jones Tweaker is more of the comparable board to the SB Resort Twin. If you'll be carving and jumping more than jibbing, go Tweaker Pro. If you'll be looking for a balanced board that can jib and jump while carving decently, go resort twin. Mainly the Tweaker Pro is noticeably stiffer and damper than the Resort Twin. If you won't be pressing much, I'd consider the Tweaker Pro. If you will, go Resort Twin.

Will this board be good for east cost riders?
@boardoftheworldcom8 ай бұрын
100%, yes. The edge hold in this deck allows it to grip to ice beautifully. It was built for us. (I too am an East Coaster. I live in Pennsylvania and reviewed this board in Vermont.)

Is the jones tweaker good for a ride at the resort? I'm curious about the sidecut of the tweaker.
@boardoftheworldcom8 ай бұрын
Oh yeah! This board is the more super-charged carving-friendly / damper version of the tweaker. It's responsive and can make turns of all sizes. It feels in control / stable at all times without it being overly catchy, if that makes sense. If you want to learn a little more about that board than I mentioned in the video, I wrote an in-depth review of it here, too. - www.boardoftheworld.com/jones-tweaker-pro-review-and-comparison/

Would you recommend this to downsize the regular tweaker?
@boardoftheworldcomАй бұрын
@arnolddejong9572 just making sure I follow the question. Do you mean because it's stiffer and more durable, is it safe to size down this version vs the regular? If that's what you meant, it probably would work one size down, just note the waist on this isn't any wider than the normal version.

The chattering in the board is mostly due to you not pressuring your nose when riding. The ruddered turns create more chatter than carved turns.
