@@MikeJay-on5tt And also the greatest showcase of Jons skill and technique being light years above the current LHW division we saw In 2022-2023, Glover became champ In that era while competing with contenders like Jiri, Dominick, Anthony Smith, Johnny Walker, Jamahal Hill, etc. and even though he only held the belt once he still became champ defeating Jan (even though Glover was obviously past his prime at that moment), he's In his prime here fighting Jon and was on a 23 fight winning streak (tearing up competitors and some former legends like Rampage, Bader, Te-Huna, Rico Rodriguez, etc.), and yet Jon made him look like an unranked opponent. And yes, Glover has also lost to to other current day LHWs like Jiri and Jamal, but he still won the belt before they did and at an older age. And In his prime Jon still destroyed him and did It at a younger age than any current day and past LHW, a fighter In Glover that was tapped as a "power puncher that hit harder than Gustafsson" still couldn't get one clean significant hit off Jon In a full on 5 RDs.

But idk i feel like Jones might be the best to ever step in the octagon bc he's so skilled in everything and his reach advantage on top of that is damn near unbeatable and factoring in the opponents he's faced. I think hes so good that he could maybe even move up to heavyweight and challenge ppl for the title. If he were disciplined, he wouldn't be the wild beast he is in the cage. That's his curse - the beauty he creates inside the cage comes from wild creativity. Unfortunately, that's what gets him in trouble outside the cage. But if he just goes on the straight and narrow - you know what will happen? He will lose his vicious sadistic creative edge inside the cage. That quote - "hey pussy, you still there?" - that's the kind of evil mind that Jon has to keep (unfortunately) to remain the nightmare he is inside the cage.
