Dag Marco. Nieuwsgierig geworden hoe je dit werk van Joseph Jongen ervan af brengt ben ik gaan luisteren en hierbij wil ik je mijn welgemeende complimenten maken. Je speelt het werk met verve en overgave. Razend lastige, maar zeer imposante muziek die magistraal klinkt op het orgel te Katwijk. Respect! Mooie, zorgvuldig gekozen registraties ook en zeer boeiend door jou vertolkt! Dat wou ik je even laten weten. Collegiale groet!

This is a fabulous piece and this performance is really stunning. The Sonata Eroica is one of my favorite pieces for organ. IT really shows what an organ can do, how it can tell a story with such gripping intensity. This is a very nice organ as well!

Prächtig oder Prächtig, Magnificent oder einfach wunderschön. Was mir an gefällt: Das orgeln: die register werden Manuel gezogen. Das ist Teamarbeit und für mich ein noch wunderschönere Hörgenuss. Ich muss wohl bald nach den Nethlanden reisen . . . . . . .

Outstanding performance and very nice video production! The metaphoric interpretation is absolutely very interesting! That makes sense in so many ways. Now here is a challenge (if I may): how would you interpret César Franck's grande pièce symphonique? I have always thought of that piece as highly picturesque and would like to see it interpreted the same way as you have done here.

Ha, Mulder is verschrikkelijk moeilijk om treffend te spelen. Live durf ik ‘t nog wel eens, maar voor opnamen geloof ik niet meer... We hebben een prachtige opname van hemzelf van deze fantasie. Laten we vooral dáár van genieten.

In the day this organ was built, that was how it was done. Usually, you have to have two registrants. Then you have the action. These large tracker organs are very hard to play. You can't just "install" combination action on these old organs. While it can technically be done, it would require a whole new console and action alterations, and that would take away from the instrument's original beauty. If you were to make such a suggestion in the hard-core organ community, it would have all of the purists in said community chasing you out of town!
