It is an example of HUMAN SELFISHNESS that steps on the neck of its own brothers to climb a mountain and come down, and in the process fill the pure glaciers with all kinds of human garbage, from the most basic urine and feces to plastics, metal bottles, even the toxic batteries by the horde of self-centered, disloyal and hypocritical insensitive people who celebrate their selfies on top of the corpse of a human with whom they lived excitedly half an hour ago.

This is the best organized of many videos about K-2 and other 8,000m peaks. It shows stage-by-stage (camp-by-camp) with the intervening climbs, terrain, time, distance, and inclines included. Quite a feat to climb K-2, and keep presence of mind and cool to video the ascent as well. Calm and organized as you are, there's a ton of drama in all of it just getting as real a sense of what it is like, as is possible from watching a video! Other than praise for your knowledge, skill and talent ... you guys are NUTS!! Planning for years maybe, training, months out of your life for the climb itself, to get to the top at considerable risk, only to want to get down as soon as possible because the place is "trying to kill you!" as it were. I'd rather take a couple of weeks off with a snorkel kit and go to a place dedicated to making you comfortable and healthy (aka "a resort hotel"). You guys should try it sometime! P.S. The only ice you find there is in your drinks!

28th of July 2021... This particular moment is just 3 days after The Killer Mountain claimed another climber. The death rate actually dropped to around 13% in recent years. In 2022 there were 190 successful summits and only 1.6% of climbers died in the attempt. It is becoming commercialized the same way Everest is. Sherpas and Pakistanis, who in the past did not, are now more willing to be paid to carry foreign climbers equipment and supplies, while leading the climb. My guess is, in the coming years. We will see thousands of people successfully climb K2 just like Everest, with much much lower death rate.

I guess you had been extremely lucky about the conditions you had on the mountain. No heavy storms, no groundless deep snow, no icy rocks. Congrats, well done.

Amazing video and accomplishment by this gentleman! and to think that Bill House flashed that chimney on sight in 1938 boggles the mind.

Absolutely brilliant ….the whole route beautifully captured and well presented. This is easily the best video I have seen on K2 …absolutely superb…well done …for a successful effortless climb but also to have the energy to film the whole journey? Respect to you. Finally my appreciation to the guys who lay the ropes! We should try capturing that …would be wonderful to see!

❤️ Epic! You did an awesome job filming this from base to the summit. The clarity was amazing! I just cannot get over how deep dark blue the sky is. Not light blue but deep deep dark blue. I could just kiss your whole face for sharing. You rock!!

Thanks Trish! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. The deep blue sky’s is often quite remarkable at high altitude 👍

Talk about things falling into place. I suppose hes done an incredible amount of physical training to prepare for something like this but to then get perfect weather and make the whole thing look so easy makes me think even i could do it (i definitely couldn't). Hats off

It must be such an awesome feeling to summit the holy grail of mountaineering! K2 is the mountain of mountains and has the combination of truly magnificent beauty, high probability of treacherous weather conditions, terrifying and technically difficult slopes! I don’t believe I have ever seen better weather conditions on this scary mountain, but you still had to climb to the top with all the dangers and risks. Congratulations on making it to the top and safely down! 👏👏👏👏👏👏 I have say this is possibly the best video of K2 climbing I have seen, especially the exquisite photography and visuals of such a magical place on our planet.

I don't usually comment on here, but your video deeply moved me. K2 in particular, as well mountaineering in general has always been a fascination of mine. Watching this really brought the experience to life for me, and Im so happy to have watched this im in tears of joy. Thank you so much. The struggle to put the effort at those altitudes into making this video as compelling as you did really shown through... my dude, you came across as someone we can aspire to chase our dreams after, not a superstar in any sort although still one, but someone people can relate to. You showed us bits of the journey, but those of substance. I got to see and feel what climbing K2 is really like, to an extent. And for that I thank you Sorry for ranting 😆

You made the K2 summit look easy. Of course this just means you are a man of enormous talent, who made excellent preparation and planning as well. I know nothing about mountain climbing but even I know K2 is called “the savage mountain” and kills 20% who dare climb it. Well done.
@riponsutradhar2908 Жыл бұрын
Congratulations Brother. Best summit video of K2 in the internet. Throughout the journey you never scared. K2 is a savage mountain but you make it quite fanatically.

What a wonderful video! I just watched a video about the crazy, tragic events of 2008 on K2, but the people in this video make it look easy (which I know it's not). I guess that's the difference when the task is approached by a well trained and coordinated team. Unless we can get helicopters to land on the summit of K2, I'll never set foot there, so watching this was a great privilege.

That Serac on the downclimb was one of the scariest things I've ever seen! Can't imagine the psychological toll of being underneath something that big. How did that feel during the bottleneck? Agree with the other commenters, this should have millions of views- Amazing achievement!
