He was definitely anointed and God did a lot of wonderful things through the ministry of Marcus, at that time. Satan desires to sift us all and place our desires on the things of this world. This is a perfect example for why even Jonathan and Suzy probably should not be in charge of DayStar, either. Both of them were on the payroll for many years before 1) the SA allegedly happened, and 2) For even longer than that before Joni married a man who had just divorced his wife of over 30 years. My point is that Jonathan and Suzy were almost certainly living a very rich lifestyle years before any problem arose. Did they speak up about the Lamb family's financial excesses back then? Not that I know of.

If a pastor takes in $500 and gives $200 for ministry and pockets $300, then ministry got $200 that they would not have otherwise got. If the lambs raised $500 and gave $200 to ministry, then that's 40%, which is 4x more than most church tithing folks

They paid 20% to the Lord and you may have only given 10% to him. Give your money to homeless, widows or orphans not to a limousine riding, jet flying, Rolex wearing Paula White, Jimmy Swagert, Joel Osteen, Kenneth Copeland type

Jonathan and Suzy had zero control on what his parents did with Daystar money. They were both raised to obey and submit to their parents 100% of the time. When Jonathan became VP, he had access to the Daystar finances. He questioned his mom's $100K honeymoon and his sister's personal photography expenses billed to DS but he was overruled by the other 2 board members.

I personally believe that extravagant spending is not Godly. We have to ask ourselves what drives leadership to desire things that are not necessary. Some serious soul searching is necessary.

You can ask for a refund. Some donors asked for a refund and they got one. The limit is 12 months from when you've donated.
