Was seventeen in 1994. A friend of mine, (now playing for a famous rock band), took it upon himself to educate me about all things rock n' roll. At some point he said, 'You have heard of Joni Mitchell, haven't you?' I said, "No". He says, 'Man, you're into good stuff, but you're gonna have to broaden your taste', or something to that effect. Twenty years later she's my favorite musical artist... At least for right now, anyways. Most likely Donald Fagan will find his way back to the top. He's never far from there.
