I used to paint all the time and my dad was my biggest fan. He asked me to do a painting of a lighthouse but he passed before I had it finished. I haven’t touched a brush since that was 10 years ago and since I have lost my mom as well. I have been having the urge to start again and I thought maybe I would try an ornament so I stumbled onto your channel. I’m very glad I did. Maybe I’ll get the courage up to give this a try. Thanks. OMG is all I can say they are amazing. I use to paint but since my late husband passed away (its been 11 years since he passed because the VA Hospital ICU nurse made a mistake)I have found it very difficult to move forward my David was an amazing man. I have returned to Ireland for a while first to allow myself to grieve his loss and heal. Now after reading all the comments below I may try it again in his name. You a truly a gifted person and oh so generous with sharing your gift with us all. I just love how the ornaments turned out. This video makes me want to run out and buy supplies so I can start. I did bring some foam balls with me from the UDA as I make hand quilted ones and even is something I stopped doing till just recently. Again they are just beautiful and for sharing them all with us. I loved this. My mother was a porcelain artist and before she passed she painted a bunch of porcelain Christmas ornaments for each of her kids and grandkids. When she passed her blank porcelain ornaments came to me. I want So badly to paint them with acrylics and stumbled onto your video in my search for a tutorial. Thank you! It was inspiring!

Absolutely incredible! The irridescent glitter against the monochrome acrylic paint is genius, gives the scene an atmospheric tone which sits comfortably with the theme. Kind of like the Aurora Borealis. I'd love to spend some time there.

Lynette I am so sorry about you parents. Mine died in 2017 in my home just six hours apart. Mom at 9:14 PM AND AND MY DAD SIX HOURS LATER. I have just started to try to learn how to paint and it has helped me so much. I get so caught up with what I am doing and three four hours have past. Stay strong the pain will never go away but God will ease the pain so you can get back to you life. God bless you hon I am praying for you.
