Fifty years ago I built my own house, hiring out only the framing and concrete work. Took me almost three years… but I learned so many skills. My mortgage was only 20% of what my friends were taking out. When interest rates hit 19%, they were all freaking out… but I only had six months remaining to pay, so I just walked into the bank and paid it off!!! I’ve since continued doing as much as I can for myself, and often earning money from learned skills! Even though we live in a cold climate I grow much of our own food, and in the times we’re living that has been a real blessing!

An example of real wisdom .. wish we all had these kind of stories told to us when we were much younger. Time getting an education would be better spent doing things .. of course none of us want a brain or heart surgeon working on us who doesn't know what he's doing .. but a degree doesn't make you skilled. Well said Garth!!

@@Rookie7916 Good! This will pay for you to up your farm. But then, how will you earn some money once you've got everything set up? Right now, I have enough to set up my self reliant farm, but I know I will need some income too along with being self reliant.Yiu see what I mean? Even Jon has some little income. I know 2 people who saved enough, bought some land, grew their food etc...then after 2 years , their savings finished and they could figure out how to earn some money. They had to go back to the city again.I don't want this to happen to me...or you! Think about this.

Started trying to approach from other direction. It’s a good video. Stealing is an interesting thing typed to money. Like when animals take my food I don’t feel like it was stolen only humans steal. When if we steal it’s only from humans. Stealing is a human concept humans created it. It’s weird.

Money came from the temple of Ishtar in Babylon. A farmer would bring in a bushel of wheat to trade for a shekel which was given to a temple high priestess to sleep with in hopes of getting blessings on next year's harvest. The Greeks had Jupiter munitos (where we get the word mint, money and monitary from) we have been whoring ourselves out for centuries now
