Can't wait to see more of this. I got a slightly modded 330Ci 6spd (Recaros, KW v3, Drexler-diff...) sitting around the garage for almost 2-3 years now, waiting to be finished. My goal was a kind of lightweight Clubsport-build - not a full track car, because it should still be road usage friendly. But still super interesting to see, what is achieveable with the E46 chassis. Greetings from germany :)

I wanted to get m3 itbs for my 39 528i m52TUb28 aswell but everyone says its Not possible. I wanna Drive that with my ZF5HP19 automatic…Cause I want the m3 CSL steeringwheel with that. Problem is my slipring.. I have prefacelift slipring the m3 Csl is Facelift.. so I dont know how to get it on my e39 ….. i want the m3 itbs on my car and the m3csl steering Wheel because of the shiftpaddels.. If u have an ideal on how to get it Running let me know ..

It was all down to the weight. S54 is cast iron block so heavier and its all over the front wheels too. The key to build was to try keep the car as light as possible.
