I'm currently building a BMW E90 330i BTTC British Touring car... Hasn't started in 5 years, been on my drive for 7 years. I do a few hours a week if that, as I hate paying people when I'm justifiably good enough to charge as a mechanic... I've proper hit a motivation wall with it. This is where having a team and mates around you helps. I have neither unfortunately... Might have to send it to you and get nuno to bark and shout at it until the parts fit.

On a level tho, sometimes it’s tricky and sometimes it’s just a dart hole when it comes to cars, we plow thousands into these things and often shit doesn’t go to plan. Just remember why you started it, and what the vision was then…imagine being able to look back at it everytime you drive it then get out. Just do a little bit everyday. 30 minutes a day religiously and the end will come. You got this champ, get her built.

thoughts on e46 for going with divorced rear or true coilover? seems to be soo many ways to skin a cat with setups on these cars. Semi trailing arm design is so primitive, heavy, swag and ingenious lmao. Amount of raw mechanical grip, if you want grip combined with eagerness of front end is mildly intoxicating. I've heard someoene doesen't run ARBs and has shorter shock body to limit droop and get away with no rear ARB, could you run two different springs with different spring rates in rear to deal with preload and fake an ARB and other for an actual spring rate? Also on the other hand some people run very stiff arb just to rotate car a bit on tighter tracks, but still depends how who likes to drive. Also by some weird definitions if e46 semitrailing arm design uses true coilover with spherical bearings at few key locations, it becomes a multilink rear end since coilover acts as a control arm and most of rear end is under tension or compression... i'm so drunkenly in love with e46 f... But for true rear for car to be "the car to be" is there any other alternative than intrax since my countrys gdp can barely afford Intrax and events i participate in don't give much seat time, 1 practice run and 2 timed runs. I was thinking to machine custom threaded shock mount body and adapt front from something cheaper like AP coilover and most likely use shorther springs. P.S. i know this e46 is focused on being very light, but few pipes in rear to connect subframe to rollcage or framerails would be worthwhile trade of weight for stiffness?
