Whiteheart was my favorite christian rock band in middle and high school. I remember how excited I was to attend one of their concerts and I think I owned every album they had. Listening to this brings back so many great memories.

I remember being introduced to the Freedom album. I couldn't believe there was such a band and that I could be so encouraged by them, got to see them shortly after. That's when God released me from the bondage of 'you can only listen to certain kinds of music, now that you're a believer'...they had a huge impact on me as a musician and believer, thank you Lord, for freedom in Christ!

I had the pleasure of playing with Brian in a South Texas band out of Beeville, Texas in 1980 called RATTLESNAKE, a copy band that did ZZ, Van Halen ect. He was one of the greatest musicians I've ever played behind as a drummer. I've played with George Strait, Johnny Rodriquez among many others. I keep good company. I went on to become a writer/biographer with books on Sam Walton, George Strait and Johnny. Maybe one day, Brian.
