Would love for Beast Boost to be implemented, Kartana takes a KO and gets an attack boost. Celesteela or Buzzwole takes a KO and gets a defense boost. Very cool in theory

Issue with that is the slippery slope element. Once they add Beast Boost, players will cry out for more abilities to be implemented. I am not against this idea, as several Pokemon in GO are terrible because they lack their ability, and their stats do not reflect that loss.

Maybe adding the ability contrary for some Pokémon like Lurantis, when they throw superpower, their stats raise instead of lower, and when a breaking swipe is thrown at lurantis and it gets the debuff it would raise the attack instead of lowering it

I think Sturdy would be interesting as an ability, almost an additional shield if used correctly, possibly too OP though without some sort of special restriction

Honestly i would love to see the ability contrary be added to PoGo. Imagine a contrary pokemon vs Steelix pre breaking swipe nerf, you would just get boosted. Would be a bit too OP though
