I've been playing 42 years and I can tell the beginners and intermediate level experienced players that this guy's videos are extremely well done and accurate.

Is it possible to also include how your amp and guitar are set up, with each song? That would help us learn how to get the different sounds of each song. Thanks!

Just love this era of rock. More, more, more! What electric guitar should I buy? Bought a Boss Katana Mk 2 on sale and have been anguishing between an Epiphone 1959 reissue Les Paul while watching interesting videos of Stratocasters/Telecasters. Have 2.5 years self learning on an acoustic.

You did well with your amp purchase. I'd get the Tele first. It's the most comfortable and simplest to play, I base that on having all three of the models you mentioned, as well as the amp. Don't stress over it--have a blast--and keep it simple with your first electric.

Cool little riffs Jon! Thanks for another great lesson. Hey Jon could you possibly do a Tutorial of Steve Wariner's "The Weekend"?

Noticed your pinky finger on the high e for muting. Nice touch.

Where I'm at? Great question. I consider myself an intermediate player. I know all the notes on the E and A strings and can play barre chords on each. I know music theory and the numbering system. I understand the CAGED system. I'm in a rut. Playing the same ole songs and riffs. I've called several teachers in my area and they all concentrate on beginners. Where do I go next. I realized this post is almost a year old.

I realize you posted this quite a while back but here’s what I did, hope it helps you. I picked up a yearly subscription to Trufire with the unlimited package and there’s a ton of intermediate to advanced stuff there that can literally keep you busy for a lifetime…. Good luck.
