Well, he is playing in the 1st position of the blues scale in Bb, 6th fret for standard tuning. There's a quick fill where he adds the blue note, E, together with double stops. And another fill where he slides to the blue note and slides back a halfstep

I think it's confusing how you count it. I would just rather count it in 3s with the hit on the second 1 and the mutes on 2 and 3. Then do that twice. I think that's easier to get a grasp on.
