I've seen Total Recall so many times. I wish I could watch it on the big screen. I was only 6 years old when Total Recall was first released in cinemas and I was too young to go and see it due to the 18 certificate and it's graphic violence.

why is the Dolby Stereo logo missing? I'm pretty sure Total Recall was a Dolby Stereo release

They were not part of the film, they were stock pieces of film the cinemas bought and used over and over depending on what format the venue used. Many cinemas just used OUR FEATURE PRESENTATION as it was often displayed elsewhere in the building what sound format the auditorium had. UCI used Dolby/DTS snipes religiously, but many others only put the sound format logo on if it was a new system that had been put in and they wanted to show it off.

Back in the 90s we had either Odeon or Cannon cinemas back then... and I never remember them showing Dolby logos before the movie until Dolby Digital arrived then we'd get the train or the helicopter sequence at the start.

Total Recall is a classic. I've watched it many times. In Total Recall, Arnold Schwarzenegger stars as a construction worker who undergoes a fake memory implant of himself being a spy on the planet Mars which goes wrong and he discovers is actually a reprogrammed Martian spy.
