This one ran from 1988 to 1992, apparently. Possibly not Jan 1st, but the old '77 ident felt a little TOO old.

Nice recreation! I remember that Robocop trailer using the Terminator music. I assume it's because it was an Orion release same as the Terminator and maybe Basil Poledouris didn't have the music complete for the film when that trailer was released? With that said, I seem to remember the Terminator and Aliens music being used on a number of different trailers back then!

Those Odeon 'First Choice' idents are in remarkable condition and quality. Where did they come from?

I had some original 35mm idents scanned a while back. Not quite a complete set but plenty to work with!

@@jonnof77 Fantastic. The memory this brought up the most for me oddly was seeing the Odeon Logo image projected on the curtain as it opened. Absolutely spot on.

Amazing as usually. Do you remember a cinema ad from the 80s / early 90s that used Tempted by Squeeze as music? It was for a drink (I think). It's driving me mad trying to remember! Thanks!
