Happy 4th of July to you as well Ace Per Head and to your family as well. I agree with everything that you said as well as these players Achane, Mostert, Wright any of them as well as Jonnu and OBJ all will attract traffic leaving guys like Waddle and Tyreek waide open just like when Waddle was wide open against the Patriots their going to be more wide open for sure. Tua has been doing his reads the difference is he had to read the defense before the football was snapped now he'll be able to do both. Tua lost weight so he's able to move around in the pocket better than he did last season. He'll move around the pocket better more like Tua did his first or second season against Arizona or some other teams. Tua has his JUJITSU knowledge to protect himself. Not worried nor concerned about the Dolphins signing Tua because they will. Fins Up

By effectively using our TEs, we’ll bring a different level of physicality to the offense. The kind we desperately needed last year, especially late in season. Another insightful video, Curtis. I’m excited and I think Fortson finds his way into this mix as well.

The potential is there, although I'm very interested to see how it fares in certain environments and against certain teams. VERY interesting season when you consider the fundamental football concepts being tested.

Jonni is a weapon but he's no blocker. We don't have physicality in our TE room/on the Offensive LOS still brother.

I think he is in certain skillsets. He's not Kittle or Gronk rounded, but he's more like Kelce light... which given Waddle and Hill and OBJ.... that's quite the recipe. Still a little soft given our OL... but let's see how it all play out, brother.

Good stuff Curtis. Would love to hear you dig into the opposite possibility of having J Smith, Ezukama, Julian Hill, T. Conner and J Wright on the field in 12 personnel Motioning J Wright to empty backfield puts three very fast and very big receivers into play with enough blockers to get us 2.25 seconds. If the defense doesn’t defend the run you’ve got 7 capable blockers and a sledgehammer big and fast back.

Interesting... I'll right it down. Off hand, I think teams will look at the OL and play all out pass and make the OL prove that they need to focus. Can they? 4 vs our 5... huge leverage will go to whatever side wins that one... if we do... we can't be stopped ( sorta'). Hill was very hit or miss in blocking... big and strong, but whiffed a ton. EZ... haven't seen enough of him to say. I'll mull it over, brother.

It’s especially exciting because Jonnu’s skill set seems to be a good match with the offensive system, or at the least dynamic which should be able to be leveraged if McDaniel is who we think/hope he is. Fins up 🐬

Awesome. I have asked repeatedly where is the bad tape on Durahme Smythe? The general congecture has been Smythe sucks even after we parted ways with Giesecki. Its not about Durahme or the TE position all together but how to position a clutch player that can click in the right moments. Mike G had the magic hands but he just did not have the football upbringing, footwork, blocking ability, to be a redzone threat. Jonnu is a gravitation to something else too early to tell for me but FINZ UP
@AcePerHead

It's not bad type, it's just mostly pedestrian and his lack of pop in speed means he can't get into the pass game enough due to the need for speed throws to offset poor blocking and he doesn't create leverage... but with Smith he plays a good role and won't limit 11 personnel. I like him, but think we could have done better and should have a while a good. As TE #2 I like him much more.

If our ol can't prove they are legitimate starters we have to upgrade early in the season like they claim they are going to do, because obviously we need two guards but they think they don't once they realize they are just backups they have to get the best available maybe they will be good and we will not have to do it but if we have to it's a must if we want to compete for the Superbowl.

I don't think a team that purposely lets its best talent go is ever going anywhere between it's the dolphins Mo to not pay good players they develop like Van Ginkel and Wilkins and Hunt plus we were really good Last year when we had Hunt Williams and Wynn but when we lost them and didn't even bother replacing them when we could have become Dalton Risner was available plus we vastly improved when we got a top ol man Terron Armstead if we get top guys like that we would be a much better team we are now going from the best teams in the NFL the last two years to now being mid leval team.

Not sure if he makes the 53... loads of TES, WRs, and RBs. Maybe he's the 4th. Cut Wilson? 53 players minus 3 for STs that leaves 25ish per side. 3 QBs, min. 3 RBs, Min 3 TEs, min 8 OLs, Min 5 Wrs: that's 22 with 3ish more to add. Think 9 OLs is a must. So 2 players... likley STs will factor in there... it will be very interesting!

I think we all come to the agreement that tua is not the superstar QB some of dreams of. I watch that chargers game and he read the defense and extended plays, just like you would your QB to. And the kid plays the game like a true footballer, someone who loved the game, when he first b a ball. ACE no, no QB wants to sit in the pocket and hold the ball. When teams run 7 on 7 drills, the QB don't run around and then throw, take your 2, 3, 4, step drops and release. 2 years back miami had wr that couldn't get seperation. The reason NFL teams paying theses wr big money is to get open now. I bet you joe burrow wish he could get the ball out in 2 seconds. Lamar jackson will tell you, he don't like running round, mahomes doi it cause he have to, K.C and had a OL since deberg.You paying guys 500 million to read a defense, so myles garret or chop robinson to come behind and take you out. The defense has better athletes, so to offset that, you must out scheme. Good assement ACE, now jonu, hill, waddle, acne, odell, mo, and the rest of the gang, can make that OL look like larry little, and kuchenberg. BUt am say it again, chris geir and his staff have done a wonderful job, putting this team together, cause at the beginning, when they starting letting wilkerson and them guys walk, i thought they were rebuilding, i even thought they might draft Penx jr. Only thing stops them, is another injury riddle season. Tua go down, maybe they need to keep tannhill on speed dial

"ACE no, no QB wants to sit in the pocket and hold the ball." They don't want to hold the ball long if there's pressure... but they sure DO if there's not!!! Big play mostly come around 2.50-2.80. I can tell you NO QB wants to be forced to throw the football in 2.09-2.30... zero. We can't block without huge design or personnel help... no QB wants 2-3 guys in route this much... esp. with no real run game. Yards are nice, but most come on 1st down... that's not where you do dam. needed for PA to really hurt someone. I don't know if Tua is the guy... the charger game (last year I think you are talking about) the had the 31st run D and we threw all day... of course the kid makes mistakes, but he's not elite... so why design an O with a poor OL 1 D run game and force the kid to carry threw the air? Makes no sense. I agree they've done a wonderful job is staffing to fit their philosophy, but is it the right one, brother... and more importantly, is it one that will win big? We'll see... I don't think so... historically proven principles say it isn't... but I an sooo curious to see if it is and I do see a window... but it's so precarious and so dependent. Tanny would get killed...he'd force the TT up by .30 at least... and no way this OL survive. I think we'll blow more teams out and have gaudier stats, but maybe struggle more in the games against good teams and on the road and in bad weather... again, this is just my eval... I hope I'm wrong and I could be... very exciting year, brother... really... on so many levels... it's truly fascinating from a concept, storyline, and historical standpoint.

We had jay cutler who could throw the ball out the stadium, and thats it, chad p couldn't throw past the twenty, culpepper, mitchell, the list goes on and on, but you get a guy in here, playing the game the right way, living life the right way. He deserves everything he gets. there are no excuses this team should be competeing for a superbowl this year. If they fail, it will be to a better team.
