The main reason I love Jonny Hawkins and the band is that I feel like there's someone else that shares the same mentality as I do. Being able to relate gives me reassurance.

In 2014 around when the self titled record came out, I heard them do an interview on Octane and then Here’s to the Heartache came on and I was blown away. What hooked me is their crazy style, strong dynamics, and equally strong melodies that stick in your brain all day long. So happy watching their trajectory ever since.

I discovered Nothing More in 2015 I think when someone posted their song Jenny in Twitter. Was blown away by the song and I said to my hubbie, hey listen to this. This band is amazing. Just like me, he was blown away too and big fans every since. Seen them already 6 times live. Their concerts are BEYOND aMazing !!

We used to have big house parties at my house back in 2007. Nothing More used to always come over for the after-party when they were in town after their shows. Jonny was the drummer at the time. Trey Graham was the lead singer. Josh was on guitar along with Mark. One time Jonny left his bag at our house and I spent $100 to ship it back to San Antonio. So, Jonny, you owe me $100.

discovered these guys on youtube back in 2014 and was BLOWN AWAY, Im so happy their getting the recognition they deserve, cant believe its already been 10 years since then. Their manager hit me up on fb one time when they were in town opening for HellYeah and i commented something like oh have a great show, so bummed it was sold out id love to be there and their manager will hit me up and offered tickets and a chance to meet the guys….i saw the message 2 days AFTER the show 😂😂 ill regret that forever lol being a drummer who likes to sing myself they were just an inspiration right away, and still are. Hey I got to witness a tiny bit of Nothing More coming up. I remember something like 20 years ago they were a tiny little core band and Johnny was the drummer back then. They came through a couple of times at the club I was a bookie for and ran sound for. And then I took a different direction in life for a few years. Came back to running sound at a club and Nothing More came through. This was in support for the album with “Jenny” and “ballast” and these guys BLEW ME AWAY! Johnny was now on vocals. There was a whole stage show. They did a wicked 3 man bass solo. And as the sound guy I worked with them that night. Although I had worked with them before, it was different this time. I could tell they were on a whole different level than most of the bands that came through the club. First off they were SUPER PROFESSIONAL about how they handled themselves. Also they were just simply the sweetest group of guys I’ve ever met. So humble and down to earth. They knew they knew they have been working hard and it was starting to pay off but they didn’t let that leak into an ego thing. They were just super cool and it left a lifelong impression on me. This video premieres in 18 minutes from now. I hope it reflects some of what I’m saying here. These guys deserve the world right now. They work hard and they are so cool about it.

You are very lucky you got to meet them :) I hope i do one day :) Jonny wrote me back on instagram when i asked him something about the carnal album coming out, I will never forget it and he's liked few of my comments on other posts of his or Nothing More's. I can tell they love their fans :)

@@HeartagramGirl30 oh I got to meet nothing more many times as well. Actually back around the same time frame as when I met immortal guardian. And then again right when the self titled album came out. I got to run sound for them one night and I got to watch their bass solo front row. That was maybe almost 11 years ago now. Maybe 10. My wife and I had just gotten married. The nothing more show was one of the first she came to watch me work. I gotta tell ya, Nothing More were some of the sweetest people I ever met. Soft spoken and very kind. They stayed the night at the club I was working at since they were on tour. We fed them breakfast and sent them off. I have an autographed poster from that night laying around somewhere,

Then I found The Butterfy Effect a cpl years ago and they hit my soul too..if yall don't know bout them you need to lookem up..they're and Australian prog rock band and they get me...they've a more Chevelle mixed in with Muse a Lil bit of a sound but in the best way..anyways sorry for blowing yall up

I found Nothing More through a reaction channel (Alex Hefner...I think that's his name...), and was blown away. 5 or 6 of their songs helped me through the rehashing of a break up from 15yrs ago (She and I were finally able to really let it all out and be honest with each other and have the closure we never got.
