[Warning: this is just a whole bunch of fan lore lol] I happened to have decided to listen to an intense cover of the main theme because I had made up a bit of dramatic fan lore for Mac Said fan lore is Sandman is Doc's kid who cut off contact with him after moving out, so because of that, Mac was always excited to meet Sandy cause he expected him to be like his big brother... just to be met with Sandy's vengeful, bullyish ass. So that really cut deep for Mac So anyways the fake scenario was Doc was sick and Mac was in a mess of anger and despair over everything, so he goes to fight Sandy all on his own. During the fight he's just completely silent and deadpan until he just starts sobbing near the end while fighting even harder anyway 1:49 THE FACT that you put in DOC'S TRAINING LEITMOTIF *AND* SANDMAN'S??? OH YOU HURT ME Thank you so much for this this was a VERY much appreciated suprise today!!

YES! IT'S BACK! WHOOO! Ohhh, it ended in the victory theme this time! Nice! This is the first game I played it had context-sensitive music, I mean, during the round there is the fight theme, then you are down and changes to another melody, and when the opponent is down changes to another melody, and different melodies for when you win or when you lose and it was all one song in the game. I was a kid and didn't really understand what was it but the music in Punch Out really interested me more than the music in other games.
