When I was younger, I was skating this secret bank in LA. I used to skate there almost every day. One day I’m out doing my thing and out of nowhere Rodney Mullen shows up. I was so surprised at first I didn’t believe it was him (I thought it was an impersonator lol). After watching him skate for a minute I realized it was the legend himself. I skated with him for hours. It was awesome! He’s such a nice and humble human being. The thing that inspired me most about that day was watching him try the same trick over and over and over. For hours he tried and failed, but you could tell it didn’t matter. He was just happy to be out skating and meeting people. This is what I see in you when I watch your videos. It’s that love and determination I saw in Rodney that day. Truly inspiring!

Incredible talent man, huge respect! Rodney Mullen used to be such an inspiration (still is) for me as a kid. We had this ON Video Skateboarding tape and rewind his part many times and go outside afterwards. I liked to do simple truckstands etc, but you took it on a legendary level.
