Thanks for posting again dude. The red and white bomber is probably the oldest (bluefish/single hook) lure in my box. I worked all day and now I almost think I went fishing for a few minures anyway.

Single hooks are the way to go. Yes, hook-ups might be slightly lower but you’re also going to virtually eliminate the bad ones. A good set using an inline single hook is highly effective. Most importantly, it’s better for the sustained health of our fish populations and the future of recreational fishing.

that bomber is very similar to the Ranger plugs they use in Baja, would probably work GREAT for windy days like this...

AWESOME brother that lure reminds me of the Roberts Ranger. Exact color I SLAY blues on. Also check out the lure called GT ice cream, PHENOMENAL casting lure, just have to modify the hook setup, I think you'll like it. Popular lure in NY, NJ areas.

@@Shawtwahla sorry I don’t buy my top waters from Temu with that definition any lure is a top water if you reel it fast enough. Have you tried the 3 oz pyramid sinker top water? Use a a 5000 reel and crank like crazy lol.

It very slowly sinks but it’s a top water lure your supposed to crank it fast with your rod tip up and occasional pops/twitches
