Great video Chris. I'm from NJ & have been traveling to RI for the past 5 or so years and have already quite a few memorable trips fishing the surf. (Wondering what took me so long being in my 40's.) Watching this video sure inspires me to book a trip to Block to hopefully break my pb. You're a great narrator as well. Could binge on videos like this for hours. Keep em' coming!

Awsome footage and educational on techniques and approaches. It may sound dumb but Joe or chris could answer this. Did you ever did the same three way method for either bucktailing, deep water live lining or three way chunking around the block region? Sorry if im asking since this video if 5 years old😅😅

Joes one of the best but if you have the ground dialed in you can train a monkey to drop eels to 50 pound fish.staem up tide drop eel. Feel hit reel up.steam back up tide drop reel repeat.us commercial bass fishermen get for or five 50s a night every night while its open lol.but we hide our techniques.joe really is one of the better guys

What rod and reel setup is this for the eels??????
@elizabethrenee4longevity5 жыл бұрын
Please use circle hooks and do not hold the fish in the vertical position. When a big bass is held vertically out of the water their interior organs can slide towards the tail which can rip apart interior tissue. Please set an example that prevents fish from dying after the release.

N Lombardi typical Asian? What Asian are u talking about because every single one I’ve seen that fishes keeps everything they catch. They don’t care about size limits and kill everything.

Man, it doesn't take much to bring the racist trolls out of the woodwork. And as far as fish handling and circle hooks, Chuck Chadsey is right. And no, I'm not vegan. I hunt and fish and eat game and fish. But these guys are releasing their fish (as you should do with big bass). So why not handle them properly (support body, don't lift by lip). And why not avoid gut-hooking them by using circle hooks (as is the law in a lot of fisheries).

3 saying eels with a World Record Striper Company rattling sinker with an Eel. For my soft plastics I like to use 7 or 9 inch Cobra Bait Sad Shads and Fugly Eel on a 1 or 1 and 1/2 oz Joe Baggs jighead.
