Enjoyed the insight with the talking. Baffles me the traction you find in the wet and steepness of the hills, at certain points you get a true sense of the gradient. I am in awe 🙌🏻

I always try and be smooth and work on my technique a lot. Sometimes I wish I was abit more bullish and aggressive but il keep it smooth

That commentary is so useful, I learned loads. From the outside it just looks like smooth riding but when you talk through it there is so much going on in your mind to make it look smooth. I'd love to see you do more of these, I don't think anybody else it doing it. Cheers!

This may be one of the best and informative videos on this kind of riding. Super interesting to listen to how you solve each obstacles, which gear etc. Would love to see more of this, or maybe like a after the fact voiceover of prerecorded footage.

As for your setup, you really know how to feather that clutch like a violin. Im curious with your gearing and tire setup; bib mousses all around all the time or you use something else? Your gearing is still 13/49?

Best vid so far, explaining is kool as its just instinctive by now for you, little things can be gleaned that helps ie, toe on peg for extra weighting..my fav tho..."we dont look down on cambers, we just ride them!! ha ha indeed. An idea maybe as you'r doing the last bit [in 3rd, then 2nd] would be to have the missus at the bottom filming also-as it will give exact perspective of exactly how hard it is,,, keep these talky types as they're helpful and i dare say unique. K from wet cumbRainia, where spainish rain is nowt but a teardrop!!
