@Joseph-C3 жыл бұрын
@@atbt3071 100 times bigger? He said it was about the same size, big enough to put him at a total of 100 employees not 100 times bigger. Everything is for sale. Typically business loans are quite easy to get when you have good credit and reputation with a lender, and an already profitable business. I imagine Rickard would have leveraged his company with a lender to purchase the other one. Rickard took a risk doing this for sure, but since he knew what he was doing it obviously paid off.

Here's an interesting thing that I have observed in the first 15 minutes of this Vlog... Usually, when I see Rickard in your Vlogs, he comes off / appears to be this rich "playboy" style of guy - and I don't mean that in a bad way at all - BUT.... The moment he starts to talk about business - you see the focus in his eyes change - you see the CEO appear - you see his drive and determination float to the top - you see the humbleness of a successful man who has succeeded because of not just himself, but because of others and those he has surrounded himself with.... I'm impressed........

This is just great. Thank you for being so real and honest about things in your life. It's so nice to hear real life stories, with nuance and depth, and not just see perfect images of cars and houses and awesome food and all the good stuff. Interviews like this make you see the person behind it all, and it makes us connect with each other. I think we all could use more of that these days. The things I would like to ask: (1) looking back, does Rikard have thoughts on if one could be as successful and yet keep work/family life in balance (2) because he is such a dedicated father, what does he feel are the most effective ways to impart/teach life lessons to his children? Rikard mentioned that he had never given an extensive interview before in english, but this was superb. Thank you for sharing and being so transparent. A fascinating and incredibly successful story!!

Thank You Jon and Thank You Rickard. I'm very grateful that you took the time to do this interview because I've been wrestling with some stuff when it comes to business. It's answered a lot of my questions... Also, I'm not sure if you're going to see this but you mentioned you'd like some advice when it comes to getting sleep. I've suffered the same problem and here's what I've found really works for me. Hopefully it works for you too. 1. Have a sleep routine My biggest piece of advice is a sleep routine that you're disciplined about following. Obviously there are times when it is impractical but as a whole if you have a consistent time that you go to bed and wake up then it gives your body a chance to regulate itself. Specifically, your circadian rhythms (sleep wake cycle). When you're consistent with it over a period of time you'll find that falling asleep becomes easy again. 2. Diet Garbage In - Garbage Out. I fixed my diet and saw improvements in my sleep. What does this look like? I eliminated processed sugar and I reduced caffeine consumption. Surprisingly, this helps with decision making as your clarity and focus jumps through the roof. Anyway, improving your diet helps too. (I'd recommend the Keto/ Paleo Diet if you're curious) Finally, even doing the above, sometimes there are time that I might wake up at like 1 or 2 in the morning - I've learned that it's a sign that I'm letting something bother me, whether its uncertainty, a project I'm working on or relationship etc. The solution? Pen to Paper / or just open up a google Doc and type away. I basically do a "brain dump" and write down whatever's buzzing around my mind. - it settles your thoughts and you should find that you'll be able to get back to bed. Hopefully that helps.

Will it be with subtitles? I'm deaf and really want to know what he said!

How about doing a Podcast? Really enjoyed listening to this.

I almost stopped listening because of the suboptimal Audio but stayed for the deep and honest words. Especially you guys talking about burnout ( /depression whatever you wanna call it) gave me an intense feeling of hope and drive. I'm 20 and often worry about the future but this kinda let's me breathe. Thank you

I enjoyed that. In many ways Rickard reinforces a lot of what I have learned (the hard way) but life is the best teacher.

They should both have their own mic, you can have ones you can attach to your shirt for example-.
