Actually? You're right. We need a (well-written) D+ show surrounding the OT crew and Leia becoming a jedi but slowly realizing she's more of a general/leader than a jedi.

Oh hell yeah! There are decades of story of just Luke and Leia we can get. We will I think just have to deal with recast of them so we can get some story but at an affordable price production cost. To do a show and have to do them insane deep fakes like with Luke would be astronomical. It wow, can’t you imagine getting them years of stories from them both that they tease us with? And the relationship of Leia and Han? All in just the following years of return of the Jedi in that timeline of the Mandalorian? Man oh man. I would love it.

You made a comparison to the Luke and Obi-Wan sabers, but I noticed the gripping reminiscent of the Anakin Saber. I like the combination of design features taken from the Saber of her father and brother but having a finish fitting of her Royal upbringing.

The TXQ version is the v2 (refined button version) of the the Anakin Starkiller's At Stars End "Princess" that came out in 2022 RPF run and was machined by TXQ, also happens to be, arguably the most accurate to the actual on screen prop.

Been hyperfixating on lightsabers for the last 2 days, and the 89sabers Leia version is probably one of my favorites! Only downside is not living in the US so customs are crazy in addition to 89 general higher prices :,) Will defo keep this one in mind tho! Thanks for the indepth und easily understandable reviews!

I've also been looking at reviews of different Leia hilts trying to decide how tempted I am to buy one (it would be my first saber). The 89Sabers do seem like the best quality replica, esp on sale atm it's almost cheaper than the TXQ atm, but the new-ish TXQ Leia SE version is sooo much cheaper than either one while kind of having a "less is more" vibe. There is a short on this channel showing the SE off, but I don't see an actual review of it here (yet anyway). From other reviews it sounds like it fixes his main complaints about the TXQ Leia Replica (sharp edges and visible pins). The SE's lack of pearl inlays also makes the design feel less busy and maybe even a bit more in character. Sure Leia was a princes, but she never ran around in poofy dresses or jewelery. It feels like a more fitting combination of elegance and practicality/humility. The extra empty space also brings the copper color to the front more, and that's a win in my book as I stumbled upon Leia's saber while looking for something in copper.

Super cool intro and excellent review!! You make an excellent point about the sequels failing to provide sufficient history through flashbacks. The same can be said for Kylo Ren. We get a little bit of history but they did not discuss the jump from moving against Luke to becoming leader of the First Order. If not for the limited comic book series, we would not know anything about his time with the Knights of Ren and the introduction of a very cool lightsaber, The Ren. Hopefully, one of the lightsaber companies will offer The Ren. Especially since it is canon.

Another great video like allways, 👌and i have to say that i really love the comparissons because they are really helpful. One friend of mine has the lgt version of this hilt and i have to say it looks ridiculously good for lgt becauae it has this chrome finish. Idk but there is something about the Txq version of this saber that i dont like, but i don't know what it is 😂

Kr sabers make absolutely ridiculously screen accurate ones! All theirs are basically master replicas but with electronics. 89 sabers and krsabers and my top companies for replica lightsabers.

That's super awesome I love Leia's lightsaber it's a very cool unique design and the 89 sabers version is way better than the Galaxy's Edge version plus the power button is proper as opposed to a switch very awesome John, and one question can you use more than one discount code when purchasing a lightsaber?

Also agree, the switch in Disney saber drive me nuts along with so many other things on them Disney sabers. It’s amazing that they own Star Wars and yet don’t put out the best sabers. It’s unreal.

@@TheCollectorsOutpost I went with CC Sabers and I received my lightsaber this past Wednesday. For me, it’ll be display piece that will sit alongside my Master Replica movie prop hilts. 89 Sabers quality is right up there with my MR’s.

It's a very beautiful hilt, does credit and Honors The Princess.

I have the UW version of this and the only 2 differences I see are that the sound venting in the pommel on mine is very subtle and you can't really see it and the aux button is actually the Silver nub on the side, as part of the hilt. (actually, there 2 nub buttons, but only one works, but is dependent on which way the chassis is put in). I do like though, that both CCsabers and UW can use 4 retention screws to hold the blade in.

Lastly, I should be getting my CCSabers Obi-Wan version 3.5 with proffie v3.9 this week. Obi-Wan is my Favorite and I'm now going on 8 hilts his, from various vendors and Saber Smiths.
