This Jónsi was famous long before Jónsi in Sigur Rós became famous. I don't listen to him or Sigur Rós, but I love this Jónsi. His real name is Jón Jósep Snæbjörnsson and he's in a band called Í Svörtum Fötum (In Black Clothes).

All 3 of his attempts to Eurovision are seriously marvelous songs! I 'd dare say masterpieces. "Heaven" 2004 is one of my all time favourite ESC songs. "Segdu mer" 2007 would easily get there too. Although I can't understand the lyrics, I just hope they re not crap cause the music is divine. "Never forget" with Greta in 2012 was also amazing. And still he keeps failing so badly. I have to assume that he's doing sth wrong. He has a GREAT voice, he is handsome, he is passionate, so? I think this dude doesn't know how to present himself. His stage attitude is not the best to deliver the full potentials of his charm. His staging in 2004 was a disaster. This in 2007... wtf is this?? Who ever thought that those ugly penguins could be a nice idea? In 2012 with Greta they had a kind of decent staging but definetely a very boring one. Very far from actually boosting that wonderful song which would have huge potentials if boosted by the staging. So, find this guy a good stage director to present him properly and send him back to Eurovision with his next masterpiece. He has to shine properly. Once and for all.
