Took only a few hours to make. It was quite easy to go through all the variants. Enjoy.
Pyramid Films is an educational media company based in Santa Monica (California) with a catalog of nearly 700 titles. Founded in 1960 by Dave and Lynn Adams, Pyramid initially focused on CPR-training films, before branching out to other topics such as anti-smoking films and anti-drug films.
My next logo history will be whatever is voted highest on a poll that I'm working on, which will be released sometime soon.

Pyramid films was the first company to have a three-dimensional computer generated ident in 1977. It certainly was ahead of its time

Out of two logos from Pyramid Films, I think the 1977 logo is the best one. It's one of the earliest logos to use CG animation, which is amazing. The CG animation is dated considering today's standards, but it is spectacular for the 1970s standards, and shows how impressive the logos from an old decade can be! The music is also nice to listen to. Also, it's creepy that the audio is distorted in 16mm film, possibly because of the fact that the film is deteriorated.

Not to pick nits, but I believe the 2nd Pyramid logo is from a bit later than 1977. From what I remember reading about it the past, It was produced and rendered by Information International Inc., aka "Triple-I", around 1980-81. Triple-I at the time, whose main business was manufacturing digital imaging hardware for mainframe and minicomputers in the 1970s and onward, started a division in 1974 solely dedicated to producing CGI for movies and television (using some of their own hardware), called the Motion Pictures Products Group (MPPG). They were one of the first CGI studios, and they went on to produce computer-generated imagery (or "scene simulation" as they called it) for many different clients and companies, including the second Pyramid Films logo shown here. They also produced some of the first CGI featured in movies like "Westworld", "Futureworld", "Looker", and also created many other logos and graphics for TV commercials, TV network & station IDs, and such. Except the first one in a B&W variant at 1:59 and 2:52 was taken from “Bambi Meets Godzilla” since it was part of the “Fantastic Animation Festival”. “Bambi Meets Godzilla” was the shortest film where it clocked in at 90 seconds.
