Joo's Combo Collection - C - Chapter 6

This is Chapter 6 of 6 for the Combo section. This is a chapter from Joo's Marvel vs. Capcom 2. All of the videos were achieved by using programmable controllers in order to bypass the manual execution barrier. As such, the combo ideas are the centerpiece of the videos. Combo videos are an expression of what the person thinks is interesting in the game. Programmable controllers enable the combo creator to program inputs at 1/60th of a second when making combos. This enables the combo creator to push the game to its limits. No game altering devices were used in the making of any of these combos. The combos are a very thorough demonstration of what's possible in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 when both an exhaustive scientific approach and programmable controllers are employed. This is a video presentation of all that data that was amassed by method of systematically reverse-engineering MvC2's engine and thoroughly exploring every character's possibilities.
It is highly recommended that the Common Technique/Engine Mechanic section be watched before the Combo Explanation section as the latter uses notation from the Common Technique/Engine Mechanic section.

2:15 Watching this, I JUST realized that Vergil in UMvC3 has a move called SPIRAL Swords. Spiral was doing Sword Loops before it was cool. #HipsterSpiral

@pryese7 the idea is that all of these videos we're produced using a programmable pad. This allows joo to make very precise commands. Some of these combos took weeks and a few took over a month to make. Duplicating them with manual entry would be very difficult, as the collection took 6 years to produce. pretty intense

I would love to be able to input combos like this manually. I'm not very interested in the programmable controller....However seeing what this game is capable of make it more worth owning. These inputs are ridiculous. Play someone in the arcade with these skills and you make them your bitch.

alot of people haven't read all the information before posting. read the sections about tool assistance and the history of the dvd. it's 6 years of work. you should pay homage to it before posting

I only have ps2 ntsc version. I don't have programmable controllers or arcade sticks
