Neither of them are good people. But I can understand why they are the way they are. For the twins, I can't imagine what it's like to go through years of physical and emotional abuse with no one to comfort them but themselves. No one to treat their wounds but themselves. No one seemed to know or the ones that did, didn't seem to care. Shim Su Reon, obviously loved them, but she was unaware of the abuse this entire time. I think Seokhyung once shouted out her "when were you ever there for me" or something like that - and I think part of what she's implying is the abuse. Not gonna lie, I'd become so hateful towards everyone and everything because well first of all, no one deserves to be abused and here are the twins getting abused over the most trivial trivial things. I feel like it's normal for them to have developed these high high walls, huge sense of pride, and hatred. And for Eunbyeol. I feel like she has some severe anxiety and fear of failure fueled by her mother. Someone needed to tell her it was okay to fall down and fail sometimes, but clearly her mother never believed that. You're entire family is part of this huge foundation, your own mother is the principal of your music school, she has won several awards and more, and you have to fulfill that - not only in terms of music performance but grades as well. It's so much pressure to not just be good but be first, and especially in fields like music or sports, the competition is insane and the spots are very limited. Plus, finding our her parents are going through a divorce, her mother having an affair, and her mom doing all these backhand deals - something inside you is just gonna shatter. Esp cause I don't think Eunbyeol started off terrible. With the tutor Min Seol A, she genuinely tried to listen, learn, and get better. But as the pressure got worse and as she found out about all the terrible things her mother did, I think the girl like broke. Basically - at the end of the day, they should and must face the consequences of their actions - literally almost killed Seol A and RoNa. I just feel a bit pity because I think with actually loving parents, they wouldn't have grown up so bad. I think cases like Seol A who with a harsh background and grow up to be decent is very rare. And I feel bad for her the most because of that, also because I think people forget about her and how difficult her life had been from the beginning til the very end.

if anything seok kyung's worse. much worse. Eunbyul was pressured into being perfect, had no one to talk to, kept her mom's head high, watched her dad go on an affair. Seokkyung had it easier, had her dad talk the teacher into giving her a cheat sheet, had an oppa who loved her, had a passionate and kind mother. I know how a terrible piece of shit Joon Dan Tae is but still Kyung should focus on the ones that care about her instead of her dad. I don't really like Eunbyeol's characters but actually I never hate her. At least not as much as I hate Seokyeong. Eunbyeol have no one by her side and the fact that her mother is the one turn her into monster. Even when her father is there, her mother bad-mouth him and they got divorce. She saw her own mother abandoned her grandfather to death. We all know she need serious help since season 1. Plus she is the only kid that is nice to Min Seola at first. We can tell that she turn out to be problematic because she was surrounded by those kind of people around her. Different from Seokyeong who have all the means and support to be good. She have Suryeon and Seokhoon but yet she still choose to be bad. She should be grateful that Suryeon still care for her despite what she did to Seol A.

BRN falling and rolling down the stairs 5. Yoon Hee falling from the cliff (THANKS TO CSJ) 6. Seok Kyung falling from the orphanage 7. JDT falling from the place he was hiding 8. HYC falling and rolling down the stairs to protect BRN 9. BRN falling and rolling down the stairs (AGAIN) 10. CSJ falling out of the railing and then again from the chandelier 11. Jo Secretary being tossed out of the building by JDT 12. JDT falling from Penthouse (The fact that Hera didn't even catch him lol) 13. Penthouse falling apart thanks to JDT's bomb 14. HYC falling and rolling down the stairs (AGAIN) because CSJ pushed him 15. SSR falling from the cliff 16.CSJ dropping/falling dead on top of the building. (The penthouse writers really think we're emotionally stable) Somebody give CSJ a Oscar her acting was so amazing she played her character so good. I believe she’s the reason for the huge success of penthouse. Tbh whether we liked the ending or not this show has kept us on the hook everytime. With its twists and turns people dying and then coming back alive it was all worth it. (Next Season: The Penthouse: War in Afterlife 😂🤣) This will forever remain one of my favorite kdramas so sad it ended.💔

As much as I hate them for their awful behavior (coming from someone whos on season 3 ep 3), it was their parents that did this to them. They constintly bullied people into getting their ways because their parents would mentally abuse them, physically abuse them, and verbally abuse them. All this must've been pressuring and scary.
