JOOF Sessions 008 - The rabbit hole 😈
Overall streaming traffic is down for everyone down due to the mass volume of streaming out there, and as I’m seeing personally traffic is rocketing on my podcasts and Soundcloud as its much easier for people to listen again in their own time. For as long as this world situation hangs around, I’ll keep doing these live sessions as I love the feeling of us all gathering together for that one united weekly intimate party, gives me a feeling of those small underground dark clubs that we like to party at together…and WILL again soon.
I promised to take you down the rabbit hole this week, plenty of deep dark pounding hypnotic moments. As you know I took a small step away from the Turbo side to let me rediscover something more fresh, original and forward thinking and you’re now starting to get a small taste of what’s coming and where I’m heading. There’s more work to be done, but that power side of me is itching to come out, but as and when it does, I want it to blow you away into the sonic future and experience something you’ve never heard or felt before. Thats always been the ethos behind what I do, the DJ you know, the JOOF sound. Without your trust, your openness all this wouldn’t be possible to let me unleash sets just like you heard in JOOF Sessions.
Unlike in clubs where I can see your reactions, I can’t sitting at home/studio. I’ve learned over these few weeks to not look at the comments as I just want to end up chatting with you all (😀) and I need to keep focussed unfolding my musical journey. Please let me know your thoughts as its the only way I get feedback.

korg have a mighty set of synths i gave up on hardware synths but korg have a mighty trie the wavesate and the optsix and the up and coming modwave and that wavestate rocks for that groove box tech house and trance waiting for modwave but korg are f*cking up the market at the minute wavestate is something else but the modwave looks even better

should get yaself some synthesizers and start making ya own tunes and use ya synths to dj what i do now and ya make some good music so rather then messing about use ya synths to dj and do the groovebox thing if ya programming skills are worth anything but its boring watching that dj thing far better with ya synths and just playing them tunes out using a rack of synths
