Your demonstrations are always helpful, Master Baxter. Along with Mr. Rinaldo's instruction and videos, these help me to get a view of slightly different technique, tempo, etc.

Your videos are very helpful. I trained in ITF before and moved to a school in Birmingham that do Chang Han patterns but the exact way you chamber which has been a bit of an adjustment, so these have been super helpful! Just tested for Blue belt with Yul Guk and will learn this form next. Thank you!

Thank you for the kudos! I'll continue making additional videos as I'm hearing students need this extra resource.

This is not real joong gun, right?
@ConcordTKD3 жыл бұрын
The term “real” is a very subjective term. Some organizations apply the movements of TaeKwonDo with various methods of focus. Focus on power over path. Focus on stance over technique. Focus on height of kicks over chambering. And each organization applies these forms to various levels of belt colors, with slight variations in which belt rank does what form. So, when you ask what is “real”. What are you asking?

@@ConcordTKD our joon gun does it different. the 1st moves are slower - almost like cupping water or holding an egg. the back fist in fight stance is followed by a hammer in walking. then punch. but still respect. this is the form i need to attain my blue belt (current green w blue stripe).

The patterns are divided into two parts. The first part is performed slow with descriptions of the techniques and stances. The second part is performed at normal speed to demonstrate the tempo.
