these are practically the J1 Mid Christmas released 1-2 yrs ago just without the textured pattern and gum bottom.

@@JasonGKicks out the box I would agree with you but I think the Christmases are better. They just need a lace swap to Black and they're good to go. The reverse bred is more tame but the texture black and gum bottom on the Christmas J1 Mid has more character.

I love Jordan 1s. Highs, lows and mids. I do not care. But I do not buy mids because of the tongue. And, for me, the problem is not that it is too long. The problem for me is that it is too thick. Way too thick. And the same thing happens with non OG lows. The tongue is too thick.
