He still has that very shrewd, salesman attitude that if he wanted to dupe anyone at anytime, he can still do so very easily without hesitation, because that is his "gift" and that he is so very damn sure about that of himself. That guy probably just go back home behind close doors and laugh about how stupid everyone is.

Anyone can hang up a phone at any time. There has never been anyone swindled to buy stock by a broker with a gun to their heads. In many cases the thing that got them in trouble was the same thing that got Belfort in trouble. Greed. His was just at a different level and the source. Many people in finance commited crimes similar to Belfort and never did a day in jail or paid a cent in restitution. In fact many are still in the industry. The man did his time and should be allowed to get in with his life without having to wear an 'unclean' sign around his neck forever. There are many violent criminals, who have zero intention of reforming once they get out. That's a way bigger problem than fixating on a guy who is clearly trying to make amends.

I want to learn the skills necesary to be succesful in sales and in life..
@lal2235
@lal2235 8 жыл бұрын
that's subjective. if you work in mc donalds, luck and timing is gonna do nothing with you, if you work hard, search the right business, hang out with the right people, and have the right mindset, talent and ideas, you are more likely to be "lucky", if you would like to say it that way, and you are right, success its not an amount of money, or number of kids, I think you are already succesful when you are searching for success and doing what inspires you...

I think this is a very unfortunate interview, what they don't realise is that they actually exhaults Jordon even more. Jordan has turned his life around, the mistakes he made, made him who he is today - This is commendable, his honesty, the truth. . He confesses this, who do we ever see doing this. Why they could not acknowledge this. That female is pious and has no idea. So many spectators very few people playing the game in the arena of life. Jordans humility is exhibited on this interview and the other interviewers come with such judgement.

Actually, I think the glamour in the movie stole the redemption. In Belforts path to redemption, he still finds a path of success to bounce. Mr Belfort is a never say No kind of guy and that has worked out for him.He is meant to be in the public eye by all means. Before another decade, he is gonna pull of another stunt.hehehehehe. The movie "The Wolf Of wall street" didint inspire me, but watching his business coaching videos and learning more about his past life inspires me.

At the end of the day, Jordan is 100x richer. That’s on top of falling down, getting back up and becoming successful AGAIN from the bottom while that attorney is stuck being a attorney and looses sleep over the ppl he has wronged. More than Jordan except Jordan is making it right

Pursuing money doesn't have to be linked to unethical behavior. If someone was sent to prison for selling weed and they get released the expectation shouldn't be "they should be selling bibles." It should be let's teach them to sell some that is NOT drugs.

I think he handles it really well, I can feel his emotion and he is very controlled. The journalist has no idea about life and people turning their life around, what stupid comments are made. How can a businessman become a monk, or sell bibles, even though if he would choose to do it. People are great at pointing the finger instead of looking at their own lives. This makes me respect Jordon even more this interview, not as a businessman, or a motivator but as a human being? He openly confesses his failings, but mistakes are our lessons for life, they are what turn our lives around. Well done

I fucking love this guy. didn't even know him til the movie, and I was rooting for him at first, and as the movie went on I was so disappointed how he squandered his gifts, and disgusted of course. but I respect the fact that he is so candid about his human condition, and turning his shit around. he is absolutely right, he should be able to redeem himself. he is an excellent motivator, and that is what I take from this guy.

@ozibratt
@ozibratt 8 жыл бұрын
"Banks ended up getting bailed out by the tax payers." ... You do realise that almost EVERY single country government actually owe the banks, right? Every single country is in debit to the BANKS ... if it weren't for the banking cartels like the "Federal Reserve" which is not owned by any government in any country, no country would have any kind of welfare system, people would be paying far more in tax than they already do whether it be directly paid out of the weekly pay, or at the end of the financial year in a lump sum, or included in purchase prices of EVERYTHING people buy... So no, no tax payers have EVER bailed any banks out ... the tax payers are the ones paying off the interest on the loans the governments take out from the banks.

Kelly Evan's hair looks like she has not combed it in a few days. She looks and sounds like a college student. Someone that is naive, and simple in all of their points of view. She also does not seem like she likes her job and is enthusiastic. CNBC should find someone that has interest in the world that they are reporting about. Not agrees with it.

Mr. Belfort excepted, this panel has no experience with salesmanship, and therefore can neither appreciate, nor understand, the art, and science, of selling. I wish Mr. Belfort had had the opportunity to explain; e.g., how businesses are put together by numbers, and how essential it is to overcome objections to make deals. The art and science of selling is not immoral! It irritates me when people pass judgment on things about which they know absolutely nothing! That's the case here; the collective ignorance here, is, quite frankly, appalling.
