I saw there was some half-hearted going-thru-the-motions defense, but do you think Clarkson would have done that for no reason ? And Embiid was like "Aw man, I couldn't get over there fast enough to tell Saric to hold up" Embiid knew exactly what was going down, before Clarkson even kirked out. Watch it again, Embiid KNEW it and was being cool about it. I dont like to repeat myself because it is repetitive, but if cavs didnt play "defense", explain the high pressure inbound defense vs philly? They wanted to steal the ball and score again after Hood dunked it and if the cavs would have succeded with a 3 pointer it would have been 5 points margin with 20seconds left on the clock, which is far from over.
