I love how this song encourages me to keep my relationship strong with the Lord. We can be stuck in our homes because of corona, but still be as close to God as if we are sitting in a pew in the church on Sunday. It's all about if we choose to pray and study His word and keep ourselves connected everyday.

My mother - my best friend in the whole world was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. Tumor is 7 cm and inoperable. My heart is broken. My mothers faith is strong and always has been. I wish I could say the same. In hard times I have always turned to a backroad drive and music that soothes the soul. Often wondered if there were others like me who struggled with their faith and find solace in places where others may not.. This past week I have prayed harder than I ever have not sure I’m doing it right... seems there is no back road far enough to escape this nightmare. Yet it’s all I know to do. Drive.. and pray. Watching the moon set and the sunrise at a special spot on my backroads I found this song. .... God is good.. all the time. Pray Hope Don’t Worry! I just recently started going to church.....I was always scared to go to church. I'm not a people person, I get so anxious being around people I don't know. I decided to go this past Sunday. You hear her. For that I know when something isn't sitting right in that car. When I drive her up and down the roads. When I'm driving the highway. There is this spiritual connection with her. I’m not a Christian anymore but dude I love this song! Still I’m spiritual and have my relationship with God. Mine was a car which was a ford taurus. For 6 years I prayed in that car everyday in the garage in Colorado. Some glorious times and I made many of my songs there too. So yeah this song spoke to me because I completely get it! There is something about God and cars and just having that one on one time. Glorious times! Its really special. Whither its a prayer closet, a car, a shed your room, don’t matter God’s there! This song hits so close to home for me. I left my toxic ex wife 6 months ago. Best damn decision I made. But something happened, I turned on pandora and this song came on as I pulled away. As soon as I heard it, I pulled into a gas station and fell apart. I realized that during that 22 year relationship, I had lost contact with all of my family and friends. Hell I lost myself and my kids suffered for it. They were ripped out of my life by the state because, of my wife's issues that I was oblivious to. But this song I play at least once a day driving my 04 Silverado through my country roads, just to keep myself right. My kids are my focus and they want to come home.
