Thank you, Tom, for your podcasts ‘Ball Magnets’ review of the 2023 Grand Final. Really enjoyed the interviews. After waiting 32 years for a Premiership in 1990, another 20 years in 2010 and now 13 years for this memorable Flag, I can see why ‘Fly’ says that he has learnt to smell the roses more when they come along. Even though this Podcast was posted 3 days ago, it has nothing to do with a ‘Premiership hangover’ as these interviews were made weeks ago. The Coach has said “WE ARE FITTER NOW THAN WE HAVE BEEN IN MY TIME”. Wonderful to win against Brisbane in the GF replay, having not beaten them at home since 2019. Congrats Tom on being Crowned Fly’s MVP in your 200th match. You were seriously busy generating a team-high six clearances, as well as 24 disposals at 95.4% efficiency.

Jordy is awesome...I have always like this guy from his first game. His energy is excellent and has the right attitude with very little ego. "There is no perception outside of your own perception of yourself."

I really wasn't a fan of Jordan for the longest time. But how he responded from some of the issues he was called for; on and off the field that takes real character. Awesome human and footballer. Stay humble MF.

We at Collingwood need to forget LAST year and start concentrating on this season if we are to go back to back. I still think we can win the flag this year but we need all the players to start playing to their strengths. Go Pies.........

Not a Collingwood fan in the slightest but great to see the off field personalities. De Goey seems chalk and cheese from his on field persona. Great pod!

It’s a great podcast, it’s interesting hearing different player’s perspectives on the game, but how long before the media jump on this and say you guys are still celebrating the premiership and aren’t focused on this year 😂. I’m not a Collingwood supporter but I was there for the unfurling of the flag as I had taken some clients to the game. I was standing near a couple of journalists when the ceremony was happening and they had to comment to each other on the fact that there were players standing there watching, it seemed like they thought there’s a story. They were taken by surprise however when I told them to leave the players alone, what’s the harm with standing there watching something that is pretty special. I asked them if they were truly that naive to think that elite athletes who play at the highest level were going to be distracted by watching something for a few minutes after they had done their warm up, and neither one was able to provide an answer. I told them if Collingwood were undefeated right now you both would be taking pictures and reporting on how great it is to see the players happy and enjoying the moment.

Tom, I distinctly remember you kicking one truly from or beyond the arc when you were at the Swans, so maybe downplaying yourself a little bit there mate!
