Two great players and individuals are Bucks and Brownie,I am a pies fan.Bucks is always going to be a legend of the magpie faithful ,a great player and seems like a decent guy.Brownie was also a great player,one of my favourites in opposition,And is also humble.Their analysis is spot on.

Good on ya Bucks, not a Pies fan but absolute club legend and very humble. Also love listening to his analysis. Bucks drafted around half of the 22 yesterday including the infamous 2014 draft - the two Daicos', De Goey, Murphy, Moore, Maynard, Cox, Quaynor, Mihocek and then guys like Noble (obviously just missed out) and others through trades like Howe, Hoskin Eliott, Lipinski, Adams. Definitely had a big say in this Premiership winning team. McRae has done superbly as well with McStay, Mitchell, Bobby Hill and Markov coming in.

Class acts, Browny and Bucks. Garry goes well in this forum as well. Browny tore us up in the GFs in the early 2000's and has massive respect from us. Now as a supporter on the other side of the result, you see like Buckley in '18 how much class and humility these guys have. We're grateful to the Lions giving us outstanding games over a number of years now. We've built up a very special rivalry and relationship. Like us, they'll be right back up there next year. To the umpire blamers, get fairdinkum and petition the afl and lodge a formal protest.

This entire AFL season has been crazy and anyone will hate it to end on a sour note. Carlton managed to pick themselves up at round 12? Port adelaide's impressive winning streak under Hinkley. Collingwood's captaincy passing to Darcy moore (thinking it was the best decision) And with many AFL greats retiring including Tippa may sadden us but made us proud with their dedication to the AFL. This is coming from a sports fan and for that i say: Bravo and thank you for a good 24-week competition.😊

I always wish bucks would have joined North as a player and for sure he copped it, when he played a very strong North, back then. With Bucks, we would have won 4 flags instead of 2 in the 90's. 7 prelims in a row, 3 grand finals. His fingerprints are still on this Collingwood side and he must be proud, as he should be. Luck has not been on his side. But he still brought great success to the pies.

It's not about quantity of free kicks pal it's not that simple it's about the quality of them and when and where they were paid so you can keep convincing yourself but the reality is you were thanking the umpires got it wrong at the end and the ball wasn't called back to neale because if it was then he only had to chip a pass and brisbane have a shot for goal to win it Brisbane could have very easily won that game if that call went their way

Pendles wasn't the captain at that stage, and had only been in the game for 6 years. 2018 GF - Played with a back injury. Nearly retired after the grand final. Close game. Backline playing undersized. 2023 GF - Gets it done *because he has the experience*.

Clearly you didnt watch the game. If anything Brisbane got the rub of the green. The whole game plan was to duck their heads everytime a collingwood player came near them because they knew collingwood are a fierce tackling side whereas brisbane are ranked last in tackling. Have a look at hipwood, zorko, Gardiner, and others ducking their heads and staying low to get free kicks and they did in fact get them paid. Are you seriously trying to say that Hipwoods free kick at their first shot at goal was a high tackle against Moore? Def NOT. Zorko staying low when tackled by Sidebottom. Gardiner ducking into Cox for a free, Coleman getting a cheap free for high tackle which clearly wasnt, in the dying minute of the game against lipinski when they had brisbane locked in the backline and allowed them out to give them a chance to win. Brisbane were playing bobbing for apples ALL day. Not to mention Collingwood were robbed when Maynard wasnt paid a block and Sheed went on to kick the winning goal for WC in 2018. You lot are all the same. I hear this same rubbish every week and every year for 50yrs that pies get looked after, yet NEVER hear about when they themselves get robbed or give them any due credit. I can count many times pies were robbed of games and grand finals, but you lot just dont get it. Just like to hate and blame umpires only when its collingwood. If this is the worst umpiring you have seen, then you clearly do not watch many games of afl footy. Pies were clearly the better team all year and on the day. Credit where credit is due.
