@@honestyloyaltyrespect5893 You haven't watched Liverpool play. We lost out on a league title when he missed games because of suspension for a rubbish yellow card in a game against Citeh. His engine was, at the time, irreplaceable. I'm still fuming about that.

As a United fan, and despite the fact he played for the Scousers, I have always had the utmost respected for JH. He was a really versatile, tough player, an inspirational leader, and an integral part of, I hate to say it, Liverpool's success. He comes across as a really good bloke, humble, grounded, with a deep understanding of football, and what makes players tick. The EPL and England are the worse off without him.

It's the same for me mate with Utd and Keane, I'm a Liverpool fan but you just know that Keane was vital to the club. He brought more than just tackles and aggression, he forced the club to put in 100% every player! Led by example and commanded the team to play for the badge! still think to this day United haven't replaced Keane! Nobody has come close to offering the club what he did and they miss it so much today clearly! Nothing but respect for Roy!

If anything, the U18 team this day may not have played well, but Roy Keane wanted to test Jordan by asking about his confidence. Did Jordan Henderson have the confidence to say he can make it? Roy Keane wanted to see if he did, and Jordan clearly passed.

I did but he proved me WRONG! Same as Lucas Leiva if i'm honest! But these two players got stuck right in and put in the effort & became legends! Jordan gets so much stick, but what fans fail to realise even today is that Utd lack this kinda soldier, a man who leads by example and puts in 100%.. You don't always need the most technical players, you also need the grafters, the workhorses that do the running! Park for Utd is another classic example, Kante the elite hard working midfielder! These players are probably the most important ppl on the pitch!

I remember this game. We played our reserve games at Houghton Eppletone Colliery Ground and the ground at that time drew decent gates because of Jordan. It was maxed out when he and Kenwine Jones returned from injury and had to have a few reserve games. The few reserve games that were played at the SOL each season drew 10K with 30K against Newcastle and Manu. We never won nowt but they were good times following Sunderland and seeing Jordan's progression. I hope he comes back after Liverpool to captain us to the premier league. What a player and what a leader.

He is just an average player, honestly and England can't achieve anything in the middle of the park. Overrated indeed.

Still the most overrated player in the premier league. Good engine & heart but a real negative player who probably has the most passes back to put his defense under pressure than any other player

Anti climax story from an average player. He has the character and charisma of a plate of garden peas.

Everyone knows that Keane doesn't really have what it takes to be a half-decent manager because he's far too full of his own self-importance. He simply doesn't know how to behave in order to get the best out of people.

But he had what it took, and knew how to behave to be one of the best midfielders in the game at one point, and one of the greatest leaders Man Utd has ever had on the pitch, leading possibly the greatest team Utd and England has ever seen, to an unprecedented treble (amongst other achievements). Sounds to me like you're the one full of your own self importance, and maybe a little jealousy, feeling the need to take a cheap-shot against another man who's been there and done it all at the highest level. Maybe you could learn a few things from him.

Roy might have succeeded as a manager in the 90's or earlier, today's game is too soft and the dressing room full of personalities that would rather down tools than do the hard yards.

I think Roy would be a better manager now than he was before. He seems to have loosened up a lot more from what I've seen of him.
