He’s actually not exactly an atheist . He definitely believes in a a higher power. I think he’s struggling with the idea that Jesus Christ is God but he’s very close.

You're just using the same popular erroneous definition of atheism (why capitalize this word?), which would be someone who says they're a non-believer, that Dr. Peterson has himself described countless times as imprecise and false. Those are mostly arrogant bad Christians that don't know where their values come from and who are blind to the fact that their 'atheistic' convictions are identical psychologically to someone else's self-described religious ones. An actual atheist would just be a murderous psychopath not burdened by the questions of morality. Even then he'd have his convictions, his insane justifications for his actions which would be based on however bad but still on faith. Atheism is just technically impossible. Humans fundamentally function on faith, independent of their conscious opinions on the fact. We're all believers, some of us are just bad actors. And Jordan Peterson seems to have always been a good actor, no matter the status of his relationship with religion.
