Jordan Poole broke out in his second year in the league for the Warriors, averaging 12 points a game over 51 games off the bench for the squad. The University of Michigan product was the 28th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

One of the craftiest youngin this season. He has the dynamic first step to blow past his defender. He also has the stroke and range to fit on the Warriors system. It's just he needs to be more efficient and avoid turnovers to replace Stephen Curry's role after he retires. Please don't trade this kid. He will be the 6MOTY candidate for next season and could be the key for the future.

We have already seen the combination he has of confidence and IT factor to attempt all star level plays combined with the humility it takes to be sent down to the G league and use it as a growing experience rather than pout about it. This dude honestly was a nasty player once he returned. He averaged 15 a game for the last 25-30 games of the year, scored in double digits like 9 gmaes in a row off the bench upon his immediate return to the NbA, had a huge 37 point game where he scored the game winner, and was the warriors second best player in their play-in loss at times.

I like how you can clearly see that he took really advantage of playing with steph, they run the same sets for them and he has the confidence in taking those long range and moving shots. Poole can create his own shot, has a floater, can stop on a dime, can do step backs and side step 3s, finishes through contact, uses our big guys for screens, spot up 3s, relocate 3s, trailing 3s, can take over the scoring, has saucy dribbling skills, and can be a playmaker with his passing skills... I may be trippin, but Poole reminds me of curry in terms of a scoring skill set . I won’t be surprised if Jordan Poole will get the same play calls as curry. Not saying that Poole is like curry, but he has the skill set like curry just doesn’t have the curry shot since he’s 1 of 1.

Not going to lie, I was hoping they were going to waive him at the end of his rookie year. He was THAT unimpressive. Couldn’t protect the basketball and couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn. He was by far the 2nd best offensive player on the team least year the last couple of months. Sure Wiggins would be on some nights, but they could count on Poole to give them at least 10-15 a night when Wiggins would disappear at times. Hopefully he’s improved even more this past off-season. Particularly his passing and defense. In my opinion he’s their first guard off the bench this year if not the starting 2 guard until Klay gets back. I really hope they can keep him long term and build around him, Kuminga, Wiseman, and Moody once Steph, Klay, and Draymond start to age
