Beautiful! don’t understand how you get this tone from round wounds. It sounds like you have flatwounds. Can you elaborate on the signal chain?

thanks! I think I just had the tone below 50%, straight into my Focusrite 18i8 interface and I just checked the original project, I only had a Waves Kramer Tape plugin active on the bass track :)
