As a Raiders fan I love the Pete Carroll signing and would love to see Byron Leftwitch as OC. Also would love to see Rex Ryan involved in some fashion. Something about his ground and pound mentality fits what the Raiders were and should be.

Just about every local reporter with sources in the building and even several national reporters have confirmed that Brian Schottenheimer is the preferred candidate of Stephen Jones and Jerry Junior. Jordan is just making stuff up based on a blurb he read a week ago.

That doesn’t really conflict with what this dude said. He’s basically saying that the absolute final decision rests on Jerry, regardless of whether or not Stephen/Jerry Jr. want Schottenheimer. It doesn’t matter who his kids prefer at head coach. Jerry will ultimately make that decision. Could it sway Jerry? Sure it could. But he is the final say.
