This song for me is so deep. I struggled with homosexuality for my entire life, as far back as I can remember. Got caught up so deep in sin. Struggling with identity issues. This year I came back to Christ. Finally coming clean and transparent with God and the church. Received the gift of a true identity given by my Father in heaven. To me, even though there is sanctification I know Satan will come to tempt me. Just because I laid my life down doesn’t mean the fight is over. Everyday I submit myself to God. Every bit of me. I wish I hadn’t had to drink from that cup, oh but the testimony God has blessed me with brings me to my knees each time. To whoever is struggling, whoever is tired, find rest in God today. He loves you just as you are. He can make beauty from your ashes. God bless!

Wow this is what I needed to hear listen and process the message. I had been homeless from 2019-2021 at the age of 56. But I lived by Gods will. I never felt sorry for myself. I became homeless as a product of circumstance. But I never Quit. As the words say I wanted to at times and just take myself out. But I looked to God as best I could and I kept the path and waited for him to reveal his gifts when he felt I was ready. Boy it didn’t happen on my terms. But in 2022 I found our Lord Jesus Christ in a way that I never experienced before. I didn’t Quit. I got on my knees and prayed. I would say to my spiritual mentor at the homeless shelter I was living at. Will I know when it happens. She said everyone experiences it differently. But he presented himself to me in a way I now understand. Preserve fence and please “Don’t Quit” whatever you are facing. Just remember as I now see…situations and hard fighting to get through only lasts for a season. We are all deserving of Gods Love. He walks with all of us every day. Just Don’t Quit and wait quietly and I promise his goodness will grace you in a way like never before. By the grace of God I am no longer homeless and ultimately I Never Quit. God Bless. These are my thoughts and I am learning to put them out there. And maybe just maybe something I have experienced will touch someone in a helpful and positive way and they can relate and have Hope.
