Jordan Spieth is one of the great American golfers of all time. His resume is extensive; he is: A 2-time US Junior Amateur Champion, a NCAA National Champion, a 3-time Major Champion (The Masters, The US Open and The Open), a former PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year (2013), the PGA TOUR and PGA Player of the Year (2015), the FedEx Cup Champion (2015), a Vardon Trophy winner (2015, 2017) and he has been ranked #1 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
Spieth has 13 PGA TOUR victories (and counting) and his career has seen the highest of highs and also some heartbreaking lows. Jordan joins Mark Immelman to talk about his career in the game, highs, lows, tournament victories and defeats, and his approach to the golfswing, the short-game and scoring.
He addresses his appearances as an amateur in the Byron Nelson tournament, his first PGA TOUR win at The John Deere Classic, his career at The Masters including the 2015 win and the 2016 defeat. Jordan also revisits the victory at the 2017 Open Championship and his mindset to chase down Matt Kuchar.
Spieth also talks about his slump in form, injury, and how he managed the journey back to the winner's circle at the 2021 Valero Texas Open.

Could listen to Jordan talk about golf all day long. The very reason he’s my favorite golfer. You’re always on the ride with him.

Mr Spaeth, you look like your unsure ,confused and not having fun out there playing golf and you also over think the wind..get out of not believing in yourself and it also looks like your caddy doesn't care what you do..

I love how blasé he is about the technical manifestations to his game, which are a million miles away from the normal Saturday morning golfer, he’s just so insightful, and makes it sound so ridiculously easy, especially his chipping he has the god mode for that..

Extremely likeable person is Jordan, and the fact he’s a dog lover, just makes him even more likeable!!

Yes just a big fan of Jordan. Ask him a question and he’ll give you a long, personal, honest detailed answer. Totally transparent. I wish Tiger had picked him as a best friend instead of JT but I guess their arrogant personalities match up. Jordan is the opposite where he’s more humble, open and honest. Listening to this interview, can you think of anyone else that speaks with more openness with his journey during the tough times than Jordan does? Always pulling for Jordan to win and get back to dominance.

I have heard that getting the backswing situated properly allows him to "turn and burn".

I know Jordan has said he will use his 52° Wedge in certain circumstances for "Short Game", rather than his 60°. I wish someone would ask Jordan 'when does his 56° become the choice and why?'

Jordan must be somewhere other than Dallas. Or, the A/C must be on in that house.

He used to be fun to watch but now it just almost unbearable with all the mental crap that goes on with him in every single round. Why on earth would he abandon his domination mind set and what he was doing. It just doesn't make any sense to why he has went down this weird rabbit hole he went down
