I hope these are more durable than the 1s the durability on the 1s reminded me of the Kobe 11 they were so bad. I wouldn’t dare take those outside or even rock them off-court for that reason.

Well the pg4 had air so it would make sense that PG would probably want to switch back to some form of air after the crap cushion on the 5, and it’s something pretty different from the react cushion on the pg6

Haha yeah I’ve gone down 0.5 size in the Jordan 38 lows when he said go up 0.5 size. Every other review I’ve seen on them have said go down 0.5 size on the Jordan 38’s

There is other shoe companies in this world, maybe Nike just makes smaller shoes? Also, he can't change the size review, he needs to stay consistent so that we can compare other old nike shoe size with the new ones. I bought the sabrinas which were a 0.5 size too big, but then I compared the sabrinas with giannis shoe and bought one that had the perfect fit.

Definitely, they look way better, and the better durability alone makes them worth holding out for alone, the only advantage to the Tatum 1 was the weight, and the only reason they were so light to begin with is they took away what almost every shoe gave you to begin with, almost no midsole/ cushion tech whatsoever and enough rubber on the bottom to last literally 2-3 games outside😂, definitely copping these when they start to go on sale.

I'll never understand why they don't just figure out the best herringbone traction possible and then duplicate it on every basketball shoe? why try and get goofy with inferior traction? it'll never make sense to me

Squeaking technically means your slipping, that’s the sound the shoe makes when it gains or looses friction from the court, so it really doesn’t matter if there’s any noise, the pattern and the rubber compound are the only things that matter.

@adamkanizsai2990 squeaking is irrelevant to performance, they’re just letting you know if your gonna be the dude that squeaks everytime you take a step or make a move,alot of reviewers/people like having squeaky shoes just for the satisfaction while hooping

I don’t think it’s unnecessary, it looks way better, the only reason the Tatum 1 was so light was the took away all the rubber off the outsole and gave you no midsole at all, so basically the Tatum 1 took midsole cushioning and gave you an outsole that had enough rubber to last 2-3 games at best outside, so the only reason they were so light is they took away what most shoes give you to begin with.

The two big yellow rubber pods on the outer sides of each shoe only adds unecessary weight. Must be all the rubber spared from the tatum 1 outsole they stuck on the tatum 2.

@@SteveJobIess the pod that sits higher up on the shoe is actually fake it’s made of mesh, most of the weight is coming from the foam and nike air, as opposed to the see through midsole and bottom on the Tatum, believe it or not these are still lighter than almost every adidas and puma shoe, they’re on par with the kd 16 if not lighter and within an oz of the ja 1 and Sabrina 1, it’s really not a noticeable difference, they probably make an EM or different material colorway that’s slightly lighter too and almost exactly the same weight as the other light Nike shoes, I’m taking the extra weight all day for the air cushion that you don’t see used nowadays, and looks good for a Jordan brand sneaker design wise

I don’t see what’s wrong with these? They literally have full length air strobel for 125$ and they’ll go on sale for sure later on, and look pretty dope in the other colorways. Have you not see what adidas has been doing in the hoop shoe world, the Ae1 has sold out on every release. The only reason Kobe’s are popular is because kobe passed away and their is hype around them, i hooped in half the line throughout middle and high school and they’re good shoes but I prefer the new stuff where they’ve basically improved the tech a bunch and made shoes perform consistently good, if kobe was still alive all his shoes would be sittin in stores for every new kobe model Nike dedcided to drop, especially considering he was already retired when he passed. Just look at the rest of the big name Nike basketball shoes they’re pretty easy to get.
